1. Development status

Navy Pigeon is not open for public registration or production use. Unless the project owner has expressly invited you to test it, do not create an account or provide data to the service.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. Similar technologies can send limited technical events without storing a traditional cookie. Navy Pigeon currently uses cookies needed to operate and secure the application.

3. Essential cookies

• Authentication session: a secure Better Auth session cookie keeps an invited user signed in, protects authenticated routes, and expires after up to seven days in the current configuration. Its production name may include a secure prefix.
• Authentication security: short-lived cookies may be used during authentication or authorization flows to prevent request forgery and safely complete a redirect.

These cookies support security or functionality requested by the user. The authenticated application may not work correctly if they are blocked.

4. Analytics

Navy Pigeon uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated page usage and improve the development experience. Vercel states that Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies and does not associate page-view data with an individual or IP address. Data points may include the page, referrer, browser, device type, general location, and event time.

5. Managing cookies

Browser settings can display, delete, or block cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent reliable sign-in and may break authenticated functionality. Because the current analytics integration does not use third-party cookies, clearing cookies does not itself disable anonymous page-view transmission.

6. Changes and contact

This notice may change as integrations are added or removed. A finalized cookie notice and complete operator contact details will be published before public availability. Invited testers can raise questions through their existing contact with the project owner.
